To Nebraska!

Hello! As you can see above we're in Nebraska! As you also know, I went with my Dad and Anna.

 We were pulling out at about Orlando at about 11;30.

 2 and a half hours latter we landed in Chicago and had to run threw the air port to get to our other flight.

We got there as they were boarding.

 I could see snow as we pulled out.

 And as we took off.

 Chicago was cool to pass over.

 I used my camera to zoom in on the city.

 "Look Dad, we're passing threw the clouds!"

 My favorite seat in the one by the window, my Dad let me!

 "It looks really cool outside! In both ways!"

 "Look at all that snow!"

 "Would you like something to drink?" asked the flight attendant.

"Oh! Thank you! I would like Dr. Pepper please."

 As I waited I saw some awesome stuff.

 "Look at that intersection Dad!"

I ended up getting my soda about 2 minutes latter I got my Dr. Pepper. It's soooooooo good! I enjoy having soda on the plane! 

"Thank You!" I told the lady.

 "Soda is so good!"

 "This is cool, the napkin has a picture of the USA!" 

"Dad, is it OK if I get a marker out of my bag?" 

"Sure!"

 As you can see, I drew a line from...

 Orlando,

 to Chicago, then to Omaha.

 My Dad bought a bag of them  for us to enjoy!

 I opened them.

 They were yummy! 

"Thanks Dad!"

 Anna, didn't have any. (Of course)

 She didn't have her own set, she would just either sit with my Dad, or with me, or the floor.

 She took a nap on the floor.

 She seemed to like sitting on my lap and looking out the window, I don't blame her at all, I love looking out the window too.

 "Dad, do you have any ideas of what I could do?" 

"Well, you could always read." 

"That sounds nice! Thank you Dad!"

 I finished the "Brave Emily" book. I liked it.

"Wow, it looks like a quilt!" 

"McKenna, would you like to watch a movie? You would have enough time."

"That sounds awesome!" I replied.

 About 5 minutes after I finished my movie we landed in Omaha.

 We had to wait a little bit to get off the plane.

 The plane was full.

 After 1 minute or so, we got off the plane.

 "We're here!" I said happily.

 I saw some interesting stores.

 I was walking to the door when I head my name, "McKenna!" 

"What?"

 I turned a round to see Chrissa smiling at me. 

"Chrissa!"

 I ran,

 And gave her a huge.

 I saw my Dad waving at me so I went out side.

 I got into my Aunt and Uncle's car. (If you didn't know,we're staying with my Dad's sister's house. It's close to where Chrissa and Elizabeth are staying.

 "Good-bye Airport!"

 We ate dinner at Cracker Barrel.

 They have so much stuff in there!

 Stuffed animals!

 Pink toys!

 Games!

 Dolls! And so much more!

 After some looking, we sat down to eat.

 There was a Christmas tree right next to our table.

 And cool things on the wall!

 I got to have more Dr. Pepper with dinner! I had a bugger also but I didn't touch my camera while we were eating.

Once we left it was dark, so I didn't take any pictures. 

 Once we got to their home, I was welcomed by Samantha, my awesome cousin.

 After talking to her for a little I put on my p.j.'s, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. 

By the way, the blanket is from Elizabeth and Chrissa for Christmas.

Our Early Christmas

Hello! Just so that you know, Kit and I are both doing this post, I'm in red. Kit's in green. 

 Today our family decided to have our early Christmas because we won't all be together on Christmas and so my Dad doesn't have to bring my gifts to NE.

 We both ran down the stairs when my parents called for us.

"Happy early Christmas!" our Mom and Dad said to us.

"Thank Yo..." I stopped middle of my sentence. 

 "Look at all the presents!" I yelled happily.

 "They're loads taller then our Christmas tree! That's funny" I said laughing.

"Why don't you start opening your gifts. McKenna, do you want to start first?" My Mom asked. 

"Hey, I'm the youngest, I should open gifts first!" I protested.

"You know that Anna is the youngest, right?"

"Oh! That's right! Anna should go first! Sorry that I wasn't nice. Will you all forgive me?"

"Yes of course Kit!"

"That's right Kit!" 

"Kit you may open first."

"Thank you Mom and Dad!"

  My first gift was a... Pink Microphone! It's soooooooooooooooo cool!

 "Thanks Mom and Dad!"

 I opened my first gift next, it was a AG doll dress! "It's so cute! Thank you!" 

Next, I got a doll pillow!

 After Kit was finished, I opened a really cute stuffed animal dog!

 I started opening my next gift. "I wonder what it is."

 It was a duck-tap wallet!

 Also, in the wallet, there was some money!

"Thank You!"

 I started opening one of my gifts from my Grandma and Grandpa.

 "Mom look what Grandma and Grandpa gave me!"

"It's lovely dear!"

"Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! It' beautiful!"

 THe next gift was for both of us.

 We  both got two LPS! (Littlest Pet Shops.)

"I would like to have the cat and the lamp. If you don't mind Kit." 

"That's perfect because I wanted the dog and the hedgehog!"

 Also, in the box, there was two stuffed animals.

 I think that they're supper cute!

"Thank you!" 

"Yea, Thanks a lot!"

 I started opening yest one more gift.

 It was an awesome dress! 

"Thank you Mom and Dad! I love it!"

 I opened the next gift, it was a lovely dress! 

"Thank You!"

 After that I opened a Art note book, "K" note book and a "K" bookmark.

  "I have a ;lot of gifts!"I said as I looked at my last gift, a stuffed dog. 

"Thank You Grandma and Grandpa! He's adorable" 

"Thank You for everything Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa!"

 "Hey, it looks like there is some more gifts behind the tree."

 "It's for you McKenna! Open it!"

 I open it to find, an American Girl doll Emily!

 "I can't wait to read her book on the plane!" 

"Thank you! Thank You! Thank you!"

"SHE"S SO BEAUTIFUL! THANK YOU!"

 Kit and I started dancing around the room with joy. 

"McKenna, there is still one more gift for you." 

 I opened it and was so so so so so happy, I had gotten Caroline's Birthday Dress from American Girl!

"I'm going to go try it on!"

 "It's Beautiful!"

 "The shoes are so pretty too!"

 "I LOVE this dress! Thank You!" 

Have you ever had an early Christmas?

Soccer

Hello! If you're wondering, Izzy and Felicity left yesterday! I cried! As for Kit, she was well, not really as sad because she's going to see the Professional Woman's Soccer game with my Mom! She's getting to stay at an awesome hotel and get to go to the game and sit in the best sets! I bet that she will have so much fun! This is her BIGGEST Christmas gift! Shes getting to go the soccer game for free! She won it from a draw.  The only problem is that see won't go to NE with us, also my Mom won't either! After the game, they will spend Christmas with my Aunt and Uncle, who also live out East.  But I'm still excited! Even though I won't be with them, I get to see a lot of my friends/family! Plus, Kit says that she will tell me all about it afterwards! I definitely think that she will have an amazing time and loads of adventures!

I'm telling you one thing, I can't wait for the cold weather of Nebraska!

Innerstar U Gymnastics

Hello! Today Chrissa and I had an amazing chance. For what you may ask? Well, the Innerstar U Gymnastics team!They have decided  to let people who aren't a part of it to join  their team! I've been looking forward to this for a REALLY long time. Ever since I found out about it I couldn't wait! When you try out for the team you get to do it in the Innerstar gymnastics outfit, which is awesome because the outfit is awesome!

This is a picture of Kit, Me, Chrissa and Elizabeth standing outside the Innerstar U gymnastics building.

 I walked into that building so excited and so so nervous! I knew that I would be very sad if I didn't make the team,but I would have to try my best!

Once we got in the building, we found out the sad news that taking pictures isn't aloud. So that's why there are no pictures of me/Chrissa doing gymnastics.

After a few people had gone, I heard it : "McKenna Brooks from Orlando Metro Gymnastics!"

I went on to that floor mat and did my awesome routine that my coach had helped me come-up with. I did pretty well! I thought that I had the footing wrong at the end but I looked down to see that I did it right and my feet were lined up perfectly!

Then came Vault, I forgot one turn,but I landed right at least!

After that was beam, one of my favorites! Well I also like Floor and Bar and Vault! I like them all! I did the beam with no problems! I liked the beams that they had there they were just made me comfortable! 

Then us my real favorite, Uneven Bars! I think that it's what I'm best at. Chrissa also did totally awesome!! After I finished my Bar routine I went to go talk to Chrissa. "You did soooooooooooooooooo awesome! I definitely think you got a spot on the team!" 

"Thanks! But I didn't quite land right on floor..." Chrissa said looking hopeful.

"I don't think that it will matter very much because I was very close to you and I didn't see you do anything wrong!" 

She was about to reply when the important person who was about to announce the winners. 

"Katie Smith from Innerstar U!" She called and a girl from the back came forward and took the certificate as the lady put on the metal. 

"Chrissa Edwards from Captain Gymnastics!" I was so happy to hear that Chrissa made the team! She was infarct so happy that she  screamed and hugged me before going up to the stage. 

"Amanda Davis from Innerstar U!" A black-haired girl joined Chrissa and Katie.

"McKenna Brooks!" I screamed with joy! I made the Innerstar U team! Like I always wanted to! As I walked up to the stage, so so so happy!

Right when we got back outside my lovely Mother wanted to take loads of pictures, so she did. I was sooooooo happy to make the team and that Chrissa did too! I will be going to Innerstar U a lot now because I will need to practice gymnastics!!

I still can't believe that I made the Innerstar U team! 

 And, I will be able to see Chrissa a lot because we will see either at practice! 

After take a lot of pictures, we left and ate dinner out at McDonald's drive-threw because I was really hungry.  

  Oh! Also, my Mom bought me an Innerstar U shirt! I can't wait to wear it! 

When I was doing gymnastics, I had a lot of energy. But once I got home I put on my p.j.'s and went to sleep for a little bit. 

I'm so glad that I made the Innerstar U Gymnastics Competitive Team!
